Clipperton Finance (www.clipperton.net) is a Corporate Finance boutique, located in Paris, London and Berlin, specializing in the High Tech (Internet, CleanTech, Telecom, Electronics, Biotech) and Media Industries, with clients such as Dailymotion, Spartoo, Digitick, Metaboli and Sequans. Clipperton successfully completed numerous Mergers and Acquisitions and Capital investments/ Fundraising transactions, ranging from 5 to 500 millions of euros, and consulted several Private Equity/Venture Capital funds in raising funds.
In order to further its growth, Clipperton Finance is looking for an Analyst, for a long-term internship (6 months, up to 12 months) in Paris – France.
Job Description:
Your responsibilities would include:
- Working on transactions, such as M&A and fundraising (preparing memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of client companies, analyzing business plans, etc.)
- Identifying new potential clients
- Preparing Commercial Presentations/Pitches to both companies & PE/VC funds
Required Qualifications:
Strong academic record with a demonstrably high degree of numerical, verbal and analytical competence (MBA, LSE, MIT, “Grandes Ecoles” etc.) and/or student pursuing a diploma in their last or second-to-last year.
The candidate should have a good base in finance (preferably already having some experience in banking or accounting), be very independent and analytical, interested in technology, be a part of the team at a company in very fast development.
Written and spoken proficiency in English is imperative, French/German/Spanish a plus.
